Behavioral Expertise That Works in Real Classrooms. Every school and every student is different. TEAM partners with school districts to provide additional behavioral expertise while respecting the knowledge and experience of the professionals already supporting the student.
Our recommendations are designed to be evidence-based, practical, and realistic for teachers and school staff to implement throughout the school day.
School Consultation Services
- School & Classroom Observations - Observe students within their natural educational environment to better understand behavior, communication, participation, transitions, peer interactions, and other factors affecting school success.
- Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) - Comprehensive assessment to better understand why behavior is occurring and identify function-based strategies and replacement skills.
- Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) - Practical, individualized plans that include preventative strategies, replacement skills, reinforcement, staff responses, data collection, and recommendations for supporting the student.
- BCBA Consultation - Ongoing or short-term consultation for individual students, classrooms, or programs, including data review, case consultation, team meetings, and recommendations.
- Classroom & Program Consultation - Support with classroom routines, transitions, visual supports, reinforcement systems, functional communication, independence, group participation, and behavioral programming.
- Staff Coaching & Training - Hands-on support for teachers and paraprofessionals through modeling, coaching, feedback, and practical strategies they can use throughout the school day.
- Professional Development & In-Service Training - Customized training for school teams on behavior, reinforcement, data collection, functional communication, independence, neurodiversity, and other behavioral topics.

Helping You Better Understand & Support Your Child at School. When your child is struggling at school, it can be difficult to know what questions to ask, what the data means, or what additional behavioral supports may be helpful.
You may be hearing terms like FBA, BIP, antecedent strategies, reinforcement, replacement behaviors, or behavioral goals and wondering what they actually mean for your child.
TEAM provides private consultation for parents who would like the perspective of an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

An Independent Behavioral Perspective
Sometimes parents simply want another professional to look at the information and help them understand it.
Our role is not to replace your child’s educational team or provide legal advice. Instead, we provide a behavioral perspective to help you better understand your child’s current supports and participate more confidently in conversations with their school team.
