At TEAM Behavioral Consultants, our center-based ABA programs provide children with a supportive and engaging environment to build communication, social, play, learning, and independence skills.
Our centers combine individualized 1:1 ABA therapy with opportunities for peer interaction, group activities, play, daily living routines, and school-readiness skills. Each child’s treatment is individualized by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) based on their unique strengths, needs, and family priorities.

Center-Based vs. In-Home ABA Therapy
The difference is where therapy happens, and what that setting makes possible. Center-based ABA takes place at one of our clinics, where your child works one-to-one with a behavior therapist and also has other children nearby — which creates natural opportunities to practice communication, play, turn-taking and group participation. In-home ABA takes place in your own home, where your child can practice skills inside the everyday routines that already happen there. The clinical model is the same in both settings: an assessment and individualized treatment plan from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), one-to-one therapy, ongoing BCBA supervision, and parent and caregiver collaboration.

What is center-based ABA therapy?
Center-based ABA therapy is applied behavior analysis delivered at a clinic rather than in a child's home. At TEAM Behavioral Consultants, it combines individualized 1:1 ABA therapy with opportunities for peer interaction, group activities, play, daily living routines and school-readiness skills. Each child's treatment is individualized by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) based on their unique strengths, needs and family priorities.

What is the difference between center-based and in-home ABA therapy?
The difference is the setting. Center-based ABA happens at one of our centers, where other children are nearby — creating natural opportunities to work on communication, play, turn-taking, group participation and social skills. In-home ABA happens in your home, where your child can practice skills inside the routines that already occur there, such as getting ready for school, mealtimes, homework and playing with siblings.
The clinical approach is the same in both: a BCBA assessment, an individualized treatment plan, one-to-one therapy, ongoing BCBA supervision, and parent and caregiver collaboration.

What services are offered at TEAM's ABA centers?
Depending on your child's individualized treatment plan and clinical recommendations, center-based services may include:

Both centers offer the same services. TEAM also provides in-home ABA therapy, school support and consultation, and Kidz Connect social skills groups.
Who oversees my child's therapy at the center?
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) completes your child's assessment, develops their individualized treatment plan, and supervises treatment on an ongoing basis — reviewing progress, analyzing data, and updating goals and teaching strategies as your child learns and grows.
Day-to-day, your child works one-to-one with a trained behavior therapist who implements the plan the BCBA developed.
How do families get started with center-based ABA therapy at TEAM?
Services begin with an assessment completed by a BCBA, who will learn about your child's strengths, areas of need, daily routines and your family's priorities. That assessment becomes an individualized treatment plan with meaningful, measurable goals for your child.
